I love these Oldspice commercials. Someone asked the Oldspice guy to propose to his girlfriend for him. So silly and adorable!

So much fun.
Abmer Hremecicle and I hit up the “Windmill Thrift Store” in North Park today. Although we were searching for something else, we ended up looking at all of the cassette tapes they had. We thought it would be really silly to buy random tapes and listen to them in Amber’s car (which has a tape deck, unlike mine.) I think we expected the tapes to be too weird for our taste, but they...

Foodie
I love to make food. Recently I have started making bread, thanks to encouragement from my friend Ada. I can now tell you, there is nothing as delicious and enticing as warm, homemade bread fresh out of the oven.
That is a picture of my delicious bread.

It is the 4th of July.
Happy 4th all! I am deciding what to do today. Looks like we might be opting for an in-n-out picnic, followed by a BBQ and some fireworks. I’m reallly hoping to find a beer in my hand at one point during the festivities today.
Good luck celebrating independence!

Oh, there it is
Fortunately, the New York Times was able to find my dream house. I had been looking for it my whole life. They really did me a solid this week. You can read the article and see all of the pictures here.

Oh my
Sooo, I finally watched Anchorman today for the first time since moving to San Diego. (That means I haven’t watched it in about 2 years. Yikes!) I am trying to figure out if the “Rocky’s bar, grill and fine dining” in the movie is the same one that is in P.B. here in San Diego. If you know, please tell me! I can’t decide if it’s the same place or not?

– St. Vincent- Your Lips Are Red
St. Vincent again!
I am going to see her Wednesday. I am doing it! Can’t wait!!!!!
I am most excited to hear her sing Land Mines and Laughing with a Mouth of Blood and The Apocolypse Song and Human Racing and Marry Me and Actor out of Work. That’s really it, though.
SO EXCITED!
Speak of the devil!!!!! Almost blew my brains out! I can’t believe Fred Armisen is in the video. I’m beaming with happiness right now. ENJOY!!!!

Love St.Vincent
I have loved St.Vincent for a long time. You probably don’t know her as Annie Clark, although that is her other alias, but she is uh-maze-ing. I have been obsessed with her old album that had gems such as Marry Me and Land Mines (always my no.1 song in my itunes 25 most played.) And last spring, when she came out with her second album, Actor, I nearly wept for 20 minutes I was so happy.

Oh no!
Saw this beauty on awkward family photos today. Please, please tell me what I see in the bottom left-hand corner of the picture is not what I think it is! A certain word comes to mind… starts with a “P” and ends with “edophile.” What do you think?

Truth.
God bless these protesters. They are absolutely right, everyone does deserve the right to get married. It is obvious that the people who so strenuously fight against the happiness and joy of others hold so much hate in their hearts.

Oh, what a day!
Yesterday, Mission Bay was gray. Literally gray, the water, the street, the sky, everything. It was such a gloomy day. I can not believe how much hail came down around 11 p.m. I have never seen so much in Southern California! Although this storm is creating many problems for a lot of people, I am really enjoying it. It’s kind of fun to have thunder and lightning and hail. It gives me a taste...

Silliness
This is ridiculously silly.

This keeps happening
For some reason, every time I buy flowers at the store I end up with the ones that are covered in glitter. Why does that happen everytime?

I did it!
First off, sorry about the cat picture. I don’t want to be that lady, but that photo was too silly not to share.
Listen! I finally took the film from my Holga to be developed!!! Can you believe it?! I finally did it! I have to wait a week to get them though. They have to send the black and white film out to a separate lab and I can’t get down to Little Italy until next Friday. I am...

How about Breakfast?
Whilst skimming through my TV’s On Demand list yesterday, I saw that it had “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” Excited, I knew I had to watch it, since the last time I had seen it was on VHS. Molly and I used to watch it repeatedly in high school and I always enjoyed it. However, since watching it again, I now wonder how naive/ completely brain dead I was in high school. I realize...

Look what I did!
I made this necklace today. I love it! I can’t wait to wear it the next time I do something that entails leaving my house. By the way, I also cleaned the house and it’s so great. I love clean house. I did work on a painting, but I hate it. Molly suggested I try to sell it since I don’t really care about it. I might. We’ll see how I’m feeling…

Someone on Tumblr prompted me to look up Charley Harper.
I think this is adorable. I really want to get the book “Charley Harper: An Illustrated Life.” Now, do I have any Borders coupons?

flip-flip-flipadelphia!
So, I finally discovered “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” Man, I have been missing out for a while. I feel like I did when I first discovered “Arrested Development,” and I though it was the best thing I have ever seen and now all I want to do is sit and watch episode after episode after episode. I knew I would love Always Sunny, but I just wasn’t able to...

Space!
I… love… space. I love it. As I have said before, I want to be an astrophysicist. I love Journalism, but really if I could go back in time and start college all over again, I would major in Astronomy. It’s not just a phase, I have always loved astronomy, but in the last year or two I’ve become obsessive about it. Neil Degrasse Tyson is my hero after all.
Last Spring, I...
3-D= Sick.
I saw Avatar!!! Amazeballs. I loved the movie, but it made me very sick. I am not usually one who is easily affected by motion sickness, but I thought I was going to have to leave the theater. I’m pretty sure it was the 3-D part that made me sick, for some reason it makes me unable to focus my eyes and Avatar was no exception.
Sickness aside, the whole movie was great. It was a very sweet...
Avatar
I’m going to see avatar. I feel nervous, because last time I went to the movies, it was the coldest movie theater in which I have ever been. I was pretty miserable. However, this time I will be prepared with boots, heavy sweaters and hot beverages.
Also, I am not going to fall asleep during the movie this time.

Happy New Yeers!
Last night, I rang in the new year with a glass of champagne in my hand (as one should.) We previously decided that we could only say, “Happy New Yeers!”— Pronounced the way “da Bears” is pronounced in the SNL skit. So all night we yelled “Happy New Yeers” outside on my deck while neighbors set off illegal fireworks (too close to the border…) and...
