Abmer Hremecicle and I hit up the “Windmill Thrift Store” in North Park today. Although we were searching for something else, we ended up looking at all of the cassette tapes they had. We thought it would be really silly to buy random tapes and listen to them in Amber’s car (which has a tape deck, unlike mine.) I think we expected the tapes to be too weird for our taste, but they ended up being pretty great and now our new favorite activity is taking summer drives and listen to our cassette tapes.

My favorite is the “instrumental gold” tape.

I love to make food. Recently I have started making bread, thanks to encouragement from my friend Ada. I can now tell you, there is nothing as delicious and enticing as warm, homemade bread fresh out of the oven.
